When I “hear” spirit talking to me, I’m not hearing them with my ears as I hear you. I’m hearing them in thought in the form of a conversation. I’ll ask a question and I “hear” them answer. Most of the time what I hear is very clear to me. However some times, such as in the case of names, I may not get the word exactly but will get a letter instead. Here is where I would need help from you with who might be coming through. When it comes to places, I usually get an object. For example, an orange because the person I was “speaking” to had lived in Florida when she passed. I'll also get pictures related to how the person died or a feeling in a location on my body such as the heart.
When it comes to relationships, it’s not always clear. Such as a mother figure, which could be a mother, grandmother, step-mother, mother-in-law or an aunt. I just know they are in the relationship of “mother” to you, or are a person who was “like a mother” to you (like a father’s girlfriend).
If you have been married more than one time, even if you have been divorced for a very long time, family from that marriage may also come through in your reading as your family. Yes, even a former mother-in-law. Spiritually you are all still connected by the bonds of family whether you are divorced or not. If someone comes through that you were not on good terms with or maybe did not get along with in life, please be receptive. They may show up to make amends and let to let you know how mauch they care about you.
What about bad or evil spirits, can they come through?
Many people who have misunderstandings and fear about what a Medium does will be afraid of this, especially if they come from a strict or traditionally religious upbringing. I understand and respect this concern, but it is a fear rooted from a misunderstanding of the spirit realm and what I do as a Medium. I can assure you, I’ve been doing this for long enough and have very specialized training. There are specific things that I do before a session to be sure that both you and I are in the light of goodness and protected. I make sure that the only spirits that come through in a reading are coming from a place of love and caring for you and to support your highest good and personal growth.
I’ve never ever felt afraid of the spirit realm and neither should you. Communication with the spirit realm has only one purpose, healing. Healing for the person in spirit and for the person still in the physical world.

What about “Psychic” readings and predicting the future?
This isn’t something I do, but there have been times while giving a mediumship reading that I’ll get some insight into the future for a client. When I do, it’s not very specific. It’s more of a general look at a direction you might want to take, consider and be made aware of. Please understand no Psychic can foresee your future with 100% accuracy…if they say that they can they are not telling you the truth.
Know that you are writing your future every moment with your thoughts and actions and you can change direction you’re going at any time. Your life is the result of a series of choices presented to you, and the decisions that you made based on those choices. It’s possible to get some insight in to those choices that occur through the opportunities and obstacles presented to you. BUT, the choice is always yours to make.
Fear and the Unknown
It is part of my mission with this work to educate people and remove their fears and misunderstandings about life, death and the spirit side of life. Death is not the end of life, but merely a part of life. Know that we are not completely in control here, as much as we would like to be and think that we are. We aren’t supposed to be. I have always been comfortable with and embraced the unknown. As well as with what I cannot control. It makes life more interesting. I have known since I was a little girl to put aside any fears that may pop up and fully trust and have faith in the Universe. It is far greater and smarter than I.
My work with the spirit world teaches me daily that my psychic abilities are to be embraced and enjoyed. I don’t take even a moment for granted because tomorrow is not promised to any of us. Learn to be comfortable with the fact that we do not know or understand everything and let that just be ok. Your life is a choice, choose to be happy and seek out the joys in life. Stay in the light. Let go of the darkness and negativity, which I know can be challenging at times. Acknowledge those challenges and look for the greater lesson in them. There is just as much good on this earth as bad. Everything looks for balance. Those bad things happen to us in different ways. It’s a part of our journey through Earth School to look for the lesson. Then we will overcome, grow and learn. Fear can be a healthy early warning system if it keeps us out of a harmful situation, but is important to not let your life be ruled or controlled by fear.
“A Gift”
I prefer to say that “I don’t have ‘a gift’, but instead that I'm one of the lucky ones that gets to deliver a gift. The message or last word from your loved ones from the spirit realm. I do believe that I am probably gifted in the amount of natural ability that I have, but I have also worked hard, and continue to do so, at developing and fine tuning my abilities and talent as any professional would. Every one of us has the ability. We call it a “hunch” or a “gut feeling”. The intuitive sense is absolutely no different than the other physical senses, talents and abilities that we all possess. Take for example musical talent. You may be born with little or no musical ability, but take some piano lessons and you can learn to play basic music. You probably won’t go on to be a professional musician, but that is not the point. On the other hand, you may be born with a lot of natural musical ability, so you decide to train and practice and fine tune your craft and you go on to become a professional musician.
Have faith and believe
You do not need me to talk to your loved ones….they see you and they hear you. They can visit with you whenever they choose. If you hear from them or see them, do not be alarmed, it does not mean they are “stuck” here on the physical plane as a ghost, they are just visiting you. If you want to see and hear them, then you must pay attention to your dreams as it is easy for them to visit you there. You must also learn to be quiet, still and receptive and if you try and practice you may see and hear them too. This happens to everyday people all of the time. All that is required is that you let go of your fear, pay attention and most importantly, believe!
